On the right side of the ballroom, separated off by two square pillars, there was an area set aside specifically for the princesses’ ladies-in-waiting and their guardian knights.
The tables there were piled with plentiful food and drink, no different from what was served in the main hall, except that the tableware was of a slightly different style.
All the knights’ gazes were fixed on their own princess.
They were clearly trying to read from their princesses’ behavior how likely she was to become the prince’s future bride. After all, the princess’s prospects were tightly bound to the honor...
