Taohua buried her face against the side of Guan Fusha’s neck, cheeks burning so hot she didn’t dare look up.

Guan Fusha stared blankly at the girl curled in her arms. It took her a moment to react. First, disbelief flickered across her face, then her lips slowly curved into a smile as if she’d just received the greatest treasure in the world. She wrapped Taohua up in a tight embrace.
