Voices overlapped almost at once. People reacted in different ways, but all those reactions could be divided into two main types: indignation at the Holy Milcandis Theocracy, and concern over whether Fia had any lingering aftereffects. The former came mostly from queen consorts who had some strength of their own, and the latter from those whose strength was not quite so impressive.
