After passing through the open hall that looked like it had been built for some kind of ceremony, Fia stopped in front of the imposing double doors and drew a deep breath.
Elaine probably wasn’t much stronger than Frida, but she was still the administrator of the Witch Hall. In Fia’s mind, witches were always tied to mysterious powers, wrapped in the unknown, and that very unknown made people uneasy.
She ran through possible scenarios and matching lines in her head, exchanged a glance with Frida, who had led the way, then pushed the doors open and stepped inside.
