One last date before Tokyo
The story takes place in winter 1999. Fumiko is a former student council president whose closest friend has revealed her sexuality without her consent. The result damages her family relationships, friendships, and plans for the future.
She decides to leave her small town and become an idol in Tokyo. Her plan also means leaving Mika, her girlfriend. Hours before departure, Mika asks to meet her. The date becomes a chance to decide whether their relationship will continue.
The pair have dated in secret for a year. Mika cares about Fumiko but finds it difficult to express her feelings. Fumiko carries anger towards people who have hurt her, including Mika. The opening therefore concerns an existing couple with unresolved problems, rather than two strangers falling in love.
A short story with different choices
On the developer’s game page, YukimiSoft lists about 10,000 words per playthrough. That is a guide to the amount of text in one run, not a fixed reading time. Your choices change dialogue and reveal more about the relationship.
The game has multiple endings. This guide does not list the answers needed to reach them or promise a happy result. If you prefer to discover the consequences yourself, start without an ending guide.
The art uses a 16-bit pixel style inspired by PC-98 romance games. William Gomez supplies music designed to recall the sound of that computer’s YM2608 chip. Expect a retro visual novel with text, character art, and music, rather than a prose ebook.
Read the content and computer notes first
The official Steam listing warns about swearing and references to violence, domestic abuse, and homophobia. The developer says these referenced acts are not shown. The premise also includes being outed and the damage that follows.
