After a round of exercise, Meng Xiaoyu was so exhausted that she fell asleep again, while Han Rubing was in high spirits, feeling refreshed as she held Meng Xiaoyu in her arms, kissing her. It seemed that the exercise hadn’t tired her out at all; instead, it invigorated her. After all, the feast of flesh just now had left Han Rubing very satisfied!
While Han Rubing was holding the sleeping Meng Xiaoyu, pretending to nap with her eyes closed, Han Rushuang and the others had already prepared breakfast. Not only that, Nangong Yunhan had also prepared a medicinal bath for Meng Xiaoyu, so she could soak and relieve her body’s fatigue after breakfast, considering the activities from last night had lasted quite a while!
With everything ready, Han Rushuang and the others brought breakfast to the dining table, and Han Rushuang got up to wake Meng Xiaoyu and her sister.
Entering the room where Meng Xiaoyu was resting, Han Rushuang didn’t knock but directly pushed the door open and walked in. Inside, she saw her sister holding Meng Xiaoyu, who was sleeping soundly. Of course, the one sleeping soundly was Meng Xiaoyu, not Han Rubing, as Han Rushuang wouldn’t believe her sister was still asleep at this time.
Ignoring Han Rubing, who was pretending to nap with her eyes closed, Han Rushuang walked to the bedside, took a pink and purple outfit from Meng Xiaoyu’s bag, and then gently lifted the sleeping Meng Xiaoyu from Han Rubing’s arms, dressing her piece by piece.
Han Rubing watched with a half-smile as her sister dressed the sleeping little one after Han Rushuang took Meng Xiaoyu from her arms.
Even after Han Rushuang finished dressing Meng Xiaoyu and put on her shoes, Meng Xiaoyu showed no signs of waking up. Han Rushuang didn’t wake her but instead carried her out of the room. Just before leaving, Han Rushuang turned to her sister, who was still lying on the bed, and said, “Sister, Xiaoyu was really tired yesterday…” with a hint of reproach in her tone. After saying this, Han Rushuang left the room with Meng Xiaoyu in her arms without looking back.
Han Rubing chuckled as she watched Han Rushuang leave with Meng Xiaoyu, thinking to herself, “My sister is becoming more adorable and tsundere!” With the room now empty, Han Rubing got up in a good mood.
Meng Xiaoyu, still in a dream, felt something cool wiping her face. Annoyed, she swatted it away, only to hear a yelp of pain. Opening her eyes in confusion, she saw Ling Yuer holding her left hand over her right hand, looking aggrieved. When she saw Meng Xiaoyu looking at her, Ling Yuer immediately put on a pitiful expression and said, “Wife, why did you hit me?”
“When did I hit you?” Meng Xiaoyu asked, still puzzled after just waking up.
“Just now, when I was wiping your face with a washcloth! Look, my hand is all red from your hit,” Ling Yuer said, showing her reddened hand to Meng Xiaoyu.
Seeing the red mark on Ling Yuer’s fair hand, Meng Xiaoyu remembered swatting away the cool sensation on her face earlier. Realizing what had happened, she said, “Serves you right for disturbing my sleep,” ignoring Ling Yuer’s increasingly pitiful face as she tried to get up from the chair. However, she soon realized something was wrong, as her waist seemed to be held by something. Looking down, she saw it was a pair of arms! Turning to look behind her, Meng Xiaoyu was embarrassed to find herself sitting in Rushuang’s lap.
“Good morning, Rushuang,” Meng Xiaoyu said, a bit flustered, but she leaned down to give Han Rushuang a light kiss on the corner of her lips, seeing her sister’s lips curve into a slight smile.
“Morning,” Han Rushuang replied, planting a kiss on Meng Xiaoyu’s lips.
“Wife, I want one too,” Ling Yuer said, feeling left out after seeing the interaction between Meng Xiaoyu and Rushuang. She leaned in, waiting for her morning kiss.
“Uh…” Meng Xiaoyu hesitated, glancing at Rushuang’s now frosty face, then back at Ling Yuer, unsure of what to do.
“Hurry up, wife! You can’t play favorites,” Ling Yuer urged, thick-skinned.
Remembering that Ling Yuer was also her lover now, Meng Xiaoyu realized she couldn’t be biased. So, she gave Ling Yuer a quick peck on the lips and wished her a good morning.
Ling Yuer, having received her kiss, beamed and then gave Meng Xiaoyu a peck on the lips, happily saying, “Good morning, wife,” ignoring Han Rushuang’s icy expression.
“Xiaoyu, what about me?” Nangong Yunhan, who had been watching from the side, also stepped forward, unwilling to be left out.
“Uh… Good morning, Yunhan,” Meng Xiaoyu greeted with a smile.
“Is that all?” Nangong Yunhan asked, dissatisfied with Meng Xiaoyu’s perfunctory greeting, pointing to her lips.
Understanding what Nangong Yunhan meant, Meng Xiaoyu instinctively turned to look at Han Rushuang, feeling like crying. How did things turn out like this? Looking at Han Rushuang’s cold face and Nangong Yunhan’s teasing expression, Meng Xiaoyu reluctantly removed Han Rushuang’s arms from her waist, stood up, and gave Nangong Yunhan a quick kiss on the lips before trying to leave.
However, Nangong Yunhan seemed to anticipate Meng Xiaoyu’s move, holding her head and deepening the kiss. After a while, she finally let go, satisfied, and wished Meng Xiaoyu a good morning.
“Wow, such a show first thing in the morning?” Han Rubing said with a smile, standing at the door after watching Nangong Yunhan release Meng Xiaoyu. She beckoned to Meng Xiaoyu with a finger, “Come here, little one.”
Seeing Han Rubing’s dangerous smile, Meng Xiaoyu didn’t want to go over, but her experience with Han Rubing told her that if she didn’t, she’d be in trouble later. So, despite her fear, Meng Xiaoyu slowly walked over to Han Rubing.
“Rubing,” Meng Xiaoyu said softly, using her best cute and innocent look, hoping to appease Han Rubing.
If it were anyone else, they’d be overwhelmed by Meng Xiaoyu’s cuteness, not knowing what to do. But Han Rubing, immune to Meng Xiaoyu’s tactics, simply smiled brightly, lifted Meng Xiaoyu’s chin, and kissed her lips. Then, she whispered in her ear, “Little one, didn’t I satisfy you this morning? Is that why you’re flirting around?” Her gentle tone sent shivers down Meng Xiaoyu’s spine, reminding her of Han Rubing’s demands earlier that morning and the embarrassing position she was in. Meng Xiaoyu shivered again, thinking, “Rubing is so scary! I want to go home; I don’t want to be in this ancient time anymore,” she lamented internally.
“Xiaoyu, let’s have breakfast! It’s been ready for a while, and it’ll get cold if we don’t eat soon,” Nangong Yunhan said, coming over to Meng Xiaoyu and Han Rubing, rescuing Meng Xiaoyu from Han Rubing’s clutches. She wrapped an arm around Meng Xiaoyu’s waist and led her to the dining room.
Seeing Nangong Yunhan take Meng Xiaoyu to the dining room, Ling Yuer quickly followed. As she passed Han Rubing, she said, “Don’t go too far. Xiaoyu isn’t just yours; don’t bully her, or I won’t let you off.” With that, Ling Yuer hurried after Nangong Yunhan and Meng Xiaoyu.
Han Rubing, unfazed by Ling Yuer’s warning, simply smiled, as she never intended to bully the little one; she just loved her very much.
“Sister,” Han Rushuang called, standing up and walking over to Han Rubing after watching the others leave. She took her sister’s hand and led her to the dining room.
“What do you think of Nangong Yunhan and Ling Yuer?” Han Rubing asked casually as they walked.
Han Rushuang paused for a moment before continuing to the dining room, replying in a flat tone, “I love Xiaoyu,” and said no more.
“Because you love the little one, you’re willing to accept them, huh? Rushuang, you’ve really changed from before,” Han Rubing mused, watching her sister’s still-cold figure. She then chuckled to herself, thinking, “Han Rubing, haven’t you changed too?”
