Tu Weierxi’s mother escorted Qu Weichen to the front door and left without coming inside. After all, she had work to do among the elves and plenty to keep her busy. As an elder, she might be patrolling the perimeter, guarding the monitoring formations, tending the vegetable gardens and orchards, or casting large-scale life blessings… The Elven Forest had countless tasks, large and small, for its elders to handle.
