An abrupt ringing came from deep within the white mist.
The female ghost’s claws suddenly went rigid. No expression could be made out on the face hidden beneath her long hair. But only a few seconds later, she seemed to make up her mind. Her body dissolved into a plume of blackish-gray smoke that wrapped tightly around Jiang Chenxin, engulfing her completely.

The strange ringing came again, much louder this time. The blackish-gray smoke was blasted apart. After barely managing to gather itself back into a mass, it fled...
