As soon as Secretary Gao stepped out and returned to the office, Assistant Li came over shortly after.
“Secretary Gao, guess what I saw in the president’s office when I went to submit the report?”
Secretary Gao glanced at the mysteriously grinning Assistant Li and followed up with a question, “What?”
Assistant Li scratched his head awkwardly, “Actually, I didn’t see clearly; the president took it too quickly.”
Secretary Gao looked at Assistant Li with a complicated expression, “So?”
Assistant Li chuckled, “I just wanted to ask if you knew?” After all, Secretary Gao always had the inside scoop.
