Slowly, Aldrich Alexia Diego opened his eyes.
Because of the potion, his consciousness was still stuck at the moment he’d finished giving Herian his instructions. In the next instant, his whole body jolted. Without even checking his surroundings, he flipped himself up from the bed.
His heart hammered in his chest. Every pore felt wide open. Cold sweat soaked his body from sheer nervous tension.
“Herian!”
