The unexpected encounter caught Dong Enyu off guard.
Just moments ago, she was basking in warmth and joy, only to be thrust back into her undercover identity.
“Why are you eating my noodles?”
Dong Enyu asked, not out of anger but curiosity.
She raised an eyebrow, noticing the bowl of Yangchun noodles was nearly empty, then turned to Luo Ye and said, “If you guys are hungry, just tell me directly. Eating all my ordered dishes like this is quite troubling.”
“We’re easygoing; whatever Aunt Dong orders, we eat,” the speaker had no sense of self-reflection.
“Sorry, I don’t know you.”
Dong Enyu looked at the woman who kept calling her “Aunt Dong,” someone she had never seen before.
Her style was quite avant-garde, with striking fiery red hair and punk makeup.
The most eye-catching were her ears, adorned with an array of colorful earrings that almost blinded onlookers.
Her smile exuded a bad-girl vibe, complemented by numerous studded accessories.
The moment Dong Enyu laid eyes on her, she felt this woman must be in a band.
“You may not know me, but I know you,” the woman chuckled softly, pulling a stool closer to Dong Enyu and extending her hand as if to shake.
“Nice to meet you, I’m Yong Le, a friend of Luo Ye’s, and I hang out with Han Ge. Thanks for the Yangchun noodles.”
Given her seemingly sincere words, Dong Enyu was open to making friends and shook Yong Le’s hand.
To her surprise, Yong Le yanked her forward, pulling her into an embrace, while her other hand gripped Dong Enyu’s chin, leaning down to lick the corner of her lips.
Rogue!
Dong Enyu shivered.
She wanted to push Yong Le away, but the latter’s grip was strong, pulling her waist tightly.
After a brief struggle, Dong Enyu finally gave up resisting, gripping Yong Le’s wrist that held her chin, squinting at her.
“What are you doing?”
As she spoke, she noticed that Yong Le’s eyes were actually a fiery red, likely due to colored contact lenses, making her appear quite dangerous, perfectly matching the wild perfume she wore.
“Just a greeting gift.”
Yong Le smiled wickedly, opening her mouth to bite Dong Enyu’s chin again, but this time, she managed to dodge.
“Please don’t do that.”
Dong Enyu’s voice was low as she furrowed her brow, breaking free from the grip around her waist and sitting back down.
“You even have your tongue pierced?”
From Yong Le’s “greeting gift,” Dong Enyu noticed something unusual on her tongue.
“Yes, and here too,” Yong Le said, pulling up her shirt to reveal a circular ring in her navel, glinting silver against her fair skin, looking somewhat bizarre.
Then she leaned closer to Dong Enyu, whispering in her ear, “There are other places too, but it’s not the right time to show you.”
“I don’t want to see.”
Dong Enyu lowered her gaze, unfazed by Yong Le’s teasing words.
Luo Ye remained quiet, ordering five cans of beer without any intention of sharing.
While Yong Le and Dong Enyu were “getting to know each other,” she silently finished three cans.
Dong Enyu glanced at Yong Le, then at Luo Ye.
Yong Le had just claimed they were friends, but the boss was a different person.
“Sorry, I have to go back.”
She checked her phone; it was already past eleven.
Dong Enyu stood up to leave but was stopped by Yong Le.
“We just got here; it would be boring if you leave now. Stay and chat with us.”
Yong Le firmly pulled Dong Enyu back down.
“Are you chatting with me, or are we chatting?”
She shot a meaningful glance at Luo Ye, who seemed uninterested in joining.
“I don’t want to interrupt your heart-to-heart, so I think I’ll leave.”
Dong Enyu shook her head and stood up, but Yong Le directly pulled her onto her lap, wrapping her arms around Dong Enyu to prevent her from leaving.
At that moment, Dong Enyu felt Yong Le’s hands wandering restlessly around her waist, squeezing here and rubbing there, even touching her thighs.
Dong Enyu didn’t stop her; she just looked down at those fiery red eyes, which seemed to burn like flames, giving her the illusion of being scorched.
“Yong Le, it seems you don’t want to chat with me?”
Dong Enyu couldn’t help but touch Yong Le’s hair, which looked prickly but surprisingly soft, twirling it around her fingers.
As she spoke, she felt Yong Le’s grip around her waist tighten.
With such a strong hint, she certainly wouldn’t think Yong Le was just seeking maternal affection.
“Of course I want to,” Yong Le replied, her voice high-pitched yet not grating, clear with a hint of laughter.
“I heard you had a ‘heart-to-heart’ with Teacher Zhao, so I want to have a good ‘heart-to-heart’ with Aunt Dong too. What do you think?”
While saying this, her fingers pinched Dong Enyu’s bottom, making her intentions clear.
“Did Mama-san tell you that?”
Dong Enyu raised an eyebrow, surprised that this matter was being discussed.
Yong Le leaned closer to Dong Enyu’s neck, inhaling her perfume, and casually said, “Luo Ye told me.”
Dong Enyu froze, looking at Luo Ye across the table, who was finishing her last can of beer.
If Luo Ye knew, then who told her?
Did Qi Ge also know?
Dong Enyu frowned, feeling displeased.
She didn’t want so many people meddling in her affairs with Zhao Han, fearing it would snowball out of control.
“I don’t want to have a heart-to-heart with you.”
She clearly pushed Yong Le away, saying, “Sorry, I need to go home and sleep.”
However, Yong Le didn’t let go; instead, she tilted her head to stare at Dong Enyu, her eyes narrowing slightly, the heat in her gaze brewing danger.
It wasn’t exactly anger, but it wasn’t far from it either.
The hands around Dong Enyu’s waist tightened, making it hard for her to breathe.
“Why are you in such a hurry?”
Yong Le opened her mouth to nibble on Dong Enyu’s earlobe, licking it gently as she whispered, “The teacher hasn’t arrived yet.”
Suddenly, a table three feet away was flipped over, startling Dong Enyu.
She saw five men approaching with baseball bats, and another five had just dismounted from motorcycles, all looking aggressive.
Luo Ye finished her beer, crushing the can in one hand before tossing it to the ground.
By this time, several men had surrounded Luo Ye, but she remained calm, sitting still without a hint of panic.
“Damn! You’re Qi Ge’s underling!” the leading man shouted, stepping onto a low table and knocking over the bowl of Yangchun noodles.
“Today, I brought a few brothers to teach you a lesson and see who’s stronger, Qi Ge’s underlings or Master Ming’s brothers!”
Clearly, they were still furious from not getting their goods last time and had come looking for trouble.
“Aren’t you going to help?”
Dong Enyu asked Yong Le quietly, since they were friends.
“Not helping.”
To her surprise, Yong Le immediately refused.
“Your friend is about to get beaten up, and you’re not going to help?”
What kind of friend was that?
Dong Enyu frowned and pushed Yong Le, but she showed no intention of getting up.
At that moment, one of the men talking to Luo Ye noticed Yong Le and Dong Enyu.
He suddenly shouted, and everyone turned their attention to the two of them.
“It’s you! Damn it! The filthy bitch who ruined Master Ming’s place!”
As soon as the man finished speaking, Yong Le immediately released Dong Enyu and jumped up, grabbing her arm and running away at an astonishing speed.
Dong Enyu was still trying to understand the situation when Yong Le pulled her along, hearing shouts of curses behind them.
Yong Le, however, was no fool; she wouldn’t just stand there and take a beating.
The group seemed even angrier at Yong Le, as more footsteps closed in.
They darted into a dark alley, weaving through it and knocking over various stands and trash cans, creating a loud commotion.
“Don’t let her get away! We have to take her down today!”
“Where did that woman go? Quick, find her!”
“Hey! Over here! She went that way!”
The angry shouts echoed in the alley.
Dong Enyu was pressed against the wall, with Yong Le tightly in front of her.
They were cornered in a dead-end alley, with only a wooden board separating them from the outside.
There were some scattered items nearby, not a perfect disguise, but the dim light made it unlikely they would be discovered if one didn’t look closely.
“Wait! They just ran over here! They should be nearby! Search thoroughly!”
A few shadows approached from the alley entrance.
Dong Enyu vaguely heard hurried footsteps and held her breath nervously, feeling her heart race.
She wasn’t afraid, but the thrilling atmosphere made her feel hot all over.
