Dong Enyu saw Mu Lin’s reaction and wasn’t surprised. She stepped forward to block Mu Lin’s view, cupping her face and examining her closely. Seeing the slightly pale face with dark circles under her eyes, Dong Enyu felt both heartache and helplessness. Mu Lin had her own job, and although they lived together, they weren’t in any official relationship. Even if Dong Enyu wanted Mu Lin to take a day off to rest, she couldn’t find a good excuse or position to suggest it, so she could only visit her at work to show concern for her little lover.
