They were the best-equipped and most formidable soldiers in the entire Viscount Minster’s territory, led by the viscount’s direct knight, Jorles, serving as the lord’s personal guard.
Dealing with a nameless thief like this was a piece of cake, even if the opponent wielded an enchanted weapon.
Knight Jorles had already drawn his longsword, eager to rush forward and capture Mo Li to earn merit with his lord.
However, at the critical moment, a loud shout stopped everyone in their tracks.
“Stop!” A shadow descended from the sky, blocking the path between Mo Li and Jorles like a towering iron wall.
Jorles raised an eyebrow.
As a knight directly under Viscount Minster, he naturally wouldn’t heed anyone else’s orders, especially since he had already drawn his sword.
There was no reason to put it back.
With this thought, he swung his sword without hesitation, only to find it halted in mid-air for some reason.
“You!…” Jorles stared blankly at the man in front of him, who had effortlessly pinched his two-handed sword with just two fingers, and was filled with shock.
“Your sword is quite nice, keep it.” With that, the man tossed the sword back to Jorles.
Jorles, still shaken, sheathed his sword and looked at the man with a newfound fear.

Realizing the gap in their abilities, Jorles reluctantly took a step back.
Viscount Minster’s face turned ashen, in stark contrast to Mo Li’s expression, who immediately recognized the man in front of him.
“Lord Rocco? What are you doing here?…”
“The lord is looking for you,” Rocco said succinctly, gesturing for Mo Li to look to the side.
Accompanied by several guards, Norma walked into the arena with his head held high.
“Uncle Norma?” Mo Li’s eyes lit up.
He was about to walk over but was stopped by the soldiers beside him.
“Move aside,” Rocco coldly glanced at the Minster soldiers blocking the way.
“The count has ordered that anyone who obstructs the way will be killed without mercy.”
The Minster soldiers, intimidated by Rocco’s gaze, instinctively stepped aside.
Before becoming the lord’s personal guards, they were mercenaries who had killed before and considered themselves worldly.
However, when facing this man’s eyes, they instinctively felt a sense of retreat and cowardice.

“Uncle Norma, why are you here?…” Standing beside Norma, Mo Li felt a mix of surprise and relief, but undeniably, a growing sense of security.

“I had no choice,” Mo Li said, feeling a bit wronged.
“The old fox shamelessly tried to steal my things, how could I just hand them over?” Old fox?? Mo Li didn’t lower his voice on purpose, and Viscount Minster, not far away, heard it clearly, his face twisting in anger.
“Did you win? Well done, leave the rest to me.”
“No need…” Mo Li didn’t want Norma’s reputation to be damaged because of his affairs.
“Don’t worry, your Uncle Norma can handle something like this.” Seeing Mo Li’s lingering fear, Norma gave him a reassuring smile and pushed him behind him.
