The second floor was not much different from the first. Aside from a few earthen pieces of furniture and the crystal lamps giving off a gloomier light, everything was calm. Nothing unusual happened.
Mo Li tried touching the chairs and tables made of packed clay and sand. A layer of gray grime stuck to his fingertip.
The earthen tables seemed to have been modeled after the palace style of that era. They looked simple, but maintaining that kind of structure with mud was not easy. It would have required casting-type magic.
