Tang Bai’s phone suddenly began to vibrate. She pursed her lips and glanced at it. It was a text message. After checking the number, she was slightly surprised. If she remembered correctly, it was Lin Mo’s private cell number, the one listed in the file.
She opened the message. There were only a few brief lines:
“Hello, Tang Bai. This is Lin Mo. Can you spare some time to meet on Monday afternoon? The company is hiring a personal assistant for me on Friday, and I’d like to discuss it with you.”
Tang Bai’s fingers flew over the screen.
