The air in the student council room froze.
Mo Li fell silent for a moment. Meeting those bright golden eyes laden with hidden meaning, his mind instead calmed down. Almost subconsciously, he reached up and rubbed his own head.
“I think this gesture is pretty normal. As for being hesitant about riding on a dragon’s back… that’s because you’re not the first dragon I’ve ridden. I’m aware dragons are a bit sensitive about that sort of thing.”
Once he voiced what he meant to say, his brows knit slightly. Something about that phrasing felt… off.
