This dark fantasy series by kiki follows Flum Apricot after her own party betrays her. Seven Seas describes a story about two women who find love while they fight for their lives. Choose it if you want Yuri with danger and violence alongside the romance.
Choose the light novel for the prose story
The full English title is ROLL OVER AND DIE: I Will Fight for an Ordinary Life with My Love and Cursed Sword! On shop pages, the words in brackets identify the edition. “Light Novel” means the prose book. “Manga” means the comic adaptation.
The official Volume 1 listing names kiki and kinta, with Jason Muell as translator. It gives a length of 428 pages and paperback ISBN 9781645058601. Use that ISBN for a print search or a library request.

Check the English volume release schedule
As checked on 14 October 2026, the Seven Seas series page lists light novel Volumes 1 through 6 with release dates in the past. Volume 6 has a print release date of 30 June 2026.
Read the light novels in numerical order, starting at Volume 1. The publisher lists Volume 7 for 29 December 2026 and Volume 8 for 22 June 2027. Those are future dates, and schedules can change. Do not treat every listed volume as available now.
The series page also lists audiobooks. Their release schedule is separate from the print books. Check the format and date on the individual volume page if you prefer to listen.
Expect betrayal and violence from the start
Flum has zero stats and a power she cannot use. A member of her hero party arranges to sell her into slavery. When she faces monsters, she reaches for a cursed weapon. These events come from the publisher’s opening description, not from an ending summary.
The romantic premise does not remove that harsh setting. Slavery, abuse, and violent danger are part of the introduction. If you want a gentle fantasy romance today, this premise may not suit you.
