After sending Jade Shura off, Bao Gu closed the doors and windows.
She sat on Yu Mi’s lap, who was lost in thought, and lifted Yu Mi’s chin so she’d look up at her.
She asked softly, “What’s got you so deep in thought?”
Yu Mi was startled by Bao Gu’s slightly teasing yet gentle gesture, her heart skipping a few beats.
Blushing, she stammered, “N-nothing… really.” She glanced to the side, not daring to look at Bao Gu, her mind replaying the scene from last night when Bao Gu carried her to bed.
Nervously, she swallowed and snuck...
