Adachi and Shimamura first meet while skipping class in a school gym loft. Their friendship becomes more complicated when Adachi starts to wonder whether her feelings are romantic. The publisher presents the series as a Yuri romance between high school girls.
Volume one introduces that friendship and Adachi’s uncertainty. For a first listen, start there rather than with a short-story collection or a later volume that happens to be available. You will meet the characters at the beginning of their relationship.

Check the narrator and sample
The Seven Seas page for volume one names Analise Scarpaci as narrator and John Marshall Media as producer. It gives a release date of 15 May 2025 and includes an audio player. The retailer links lead to several listening services.
Use the sample to check the voice, pauses, and pace. Try your normal listening speed first. If the delivery feels too fast or too slow, check whether your chosen app lets you adjust it. A narrator’s style is personal, so a short listen can help more than a star rating.

The running-time listings differ. Seven Seas lists seven hours and two minutes, while Google Play lists five hours and 34 minutes. Google Play identifies its edition as English and unabridged. Check the current listing in the service you plan to use; the difference alone does not establish that one recording is abridged.
Check your library before you buy
OverDrive lists volume one as an unabridged audiobook. Its page includes a sample and a search for libraries with the title. This gives you a place to check for a loan through Libby.
Search your own library’s catalogue for the full title and author. Confirm the audio format and volume number. An ebook result is a different format, even if its cover looks the same. If your library has the audiobook, check whether you can borrow it now or must place a hold.
A listing in OverDrive’s wider catalogue does not confirm access through your library card. If you cannot find the audio edition, ask your library whether it can obtain it. Do not buy a later volume merely because volume one has a wait.
Choose one listening service
Before payment, check the price in your region and whether you are buying the volume or using subscription access. Confirm that the service works on your device. If you need offline listening, check its download rules before you commit.
