Once Qiu Qi had been wiped clean and dried, she was finally allowed onto the bed.
The little wings on her back felt uncomfortable pressed against the mattress. She wiggled her rump and laboriously rolled over, settling on her stomach.
Qiu Qi leaned close to Pei Yuqing’s ear and whispered as though sharing a secret.
“Madam, can I discuss something with you?”
Pei gave her a sidelong glance.
“Go ahead.”
“I want to accept the S-rank commission from the Green Island Guild.”
