After Dou Kang and Liu Xiao returned to Thunder Academy’s side, Dou Kang looked at the final two students who had yet to fight and shook his head dejectedly.
“Let’s forfeit the final match.”
“Why, Captain?” one of the boys asked in confusion. The fight had not even started yet. How could they surrender so easily? This was nothing like their captain.
“The opponents are simply too strong. You two aren’t their match. Rather than go up there, get beaten, and be forced to surrender, you’d be better off forfeiting now. At least you’ll preserve some of your strength.”
