Early the next morning, as sunlight bathed the earth and birdsong brought a touch of liveliness to the quiet world, Bai Ling slowly woke from her dreams. Her long lashes trembled a few times, then she gently opened her eyes.
Not long after Bai Ling woke up, Bai Ting’s beautiful eyes also fluttered open. She turned her head and saw that Bai Ling was already awake, then smiled slightly.
“Morning, Ling.”
