The badge wasn’t big, just about the size of a thumb, all white, with a transparent blue crystal set in the center.
The crystal was shaped like a triangle, and you could even see a faint layer of frost on the outside.
“What’s this?” Lin Qiufeng asked curiously.
“This is the exclusive badge for the Ling Ting Squad.
With this on, no one will dare mess with you.” Xu Wenjing explained from the side.
“So does every squad have a badge like this?”
“Not really.
Some squads are so small that you can remember everyone just by memory, so those squads don’t have badges.
And if a squad wants its own exclusive badge, it has to have more than a certain number of members, and they have to complete missions to qualify.
So usually, only the bigger squads have their own badges.” Xu Wenjing explained patiently, showing no sign of impatience.
“Oh, I see.”
“Alright, now you’re both members of the Ling Ting Squad.
No one’s going to bother you anymore.”
“Yeah, thanks.”
“No problem, really, I should be thanking you.”
“Why?”
“Think about it, I just recruited two such cute girls.
Who knows how many male students will want to join Ling Ting Squad now? Just the attention you two bring is enough for me to thank you.”

“So, what are you two planning to do next?” Xu Wenjing changed the subject, not paying attention to Bai Ling anymore.

“Ah! We were just about to check out the mission board, but then we ran into those annoying guys, and then we met you.” Lin Qiufeng finally remembered what they were supposed to be doing.

Usually, new students wouldn’t take missions.
