The carriage traveled from morning until noon before finally arriving at the gates of the Magic Academy.
The Bai family estate was located at the intersection of the Divine Beast Forest, the Magical Beast Forest, and the borders of the Luo Kingdom.
It wasn’t too far from the Magic Academy built by Luo Kingdom, but it wasn’t exactly close either.
The carriage moved at an incredible speed, almost as if it was gliding over waves, fast as lightning.

Luo Kingdom was situated on the eastern side of the Gaia Continent.
To its south was the Divine Beast Forest, while the Magical Beast Forest lay to the southwest.
So the carriage traveled north from the south, all the way to the center of Luo Kingdom, to a city called Liujin City.
This city was at the heart of the kingdom and had the largest population, which was why the ruler of Luo Kingdom chose to build the Magic Academy here.
Since people from all over the kingdom gathered here, it was also the economic center of Luo Kingdom.
The whole way, Bai Ling stared out the window at the sky, lost in thought, not sure what she was thinking about.
She only snapped out of it when they finally arrived at their destination.
It was Yue Xin who reminded Bai Ling that they had arrived, otherwise she probably would have kept daydreaming.
As soon as she got off the carriage, Bai Ling was immediately drawn in by the scene in front of her.
Crowds of people came and went, most of them her age.
Having survived on the edge of the forest for sixteen years, Bai Ling had never seen anything like this before.
Sure, in her previous life she’d seen crowds, but only rarely, and never so many people her own age.
This left the newly arrived Bai Ling a bit dazed.
She just stood there quietly, watching the crowd, and before she knew it, she was lost in thought again.
Next off the carriage was Yue Xin.

When Bai Mo got off the carriage, all he saw were two figures walking away into the distance.
He was completely confused—why didn’t they wait for him? He told the coachman to wait there and hurried after them.

At the academy gates stood a plaque with the bold characters “Yulin Academy” written on it.
