What was going on? Yelido’s reaction caught Fia off guard. She had originally planned to say something else before apologizing to him, never imagining that he would apologize to her first. What confused her most was that she couldn’t think of any reason for his apology. She had been the one to hit Yelido yesterday, not the other way around.
Before Fia could react, Yelido continued in a low voice.
“I struck you in a moment of impulse yesterday… I wasn’t thinking when I acted. I hope you’ll accept my apology.”
