Under the moonlight, a stunning smile bloomed on the girl’s bloodstained cheek.
She pulled the crossbow bolt out of her own body, snapped it in half, and tossed it aside like trash.
Propping up her battered body, she walked step by step toward the remaining four people.
“That’s it? …Compared to Huang Huo, you’re nothing special.”
“Hold her down, keep attacking.” A slight crease appeared on Robert’s brow as he gave a cold order.
Barbed vines rose up from beneath Jasmine’s feet, wrapping around her body and locking her in place.
“Miss Mo Li, I admit you’re quite unique, but fighting and winning battles isn’t just about being special.” With a wave of his hand, Robert conjured a chair made of vines and sat down.
“The noble bloodline I inherited from my ancestors is called [Natural Law].
As long as I’m in forests or grasslands, I can control these vines and natural creations at will.
In other words, this place is my natural battlefield, and I have an absolute advantage.”
“Someone like you, with no bloodline, could never beat me.
Commoners can’t defeat those with noble bloodlines.
That’s the law of the Tain Continent.”
“You got lucky once, but this time, I won’t let my guard down.”
“Whoosh, whoosh, whoosh!” After Jasmine was tied up, the crossbow noble loaded a bolt engraved with red runes onto his heavy crossbow.
The massive bolt drew a straight line through the air and exploded violently the moment it hit Jasmine.
“Boom, boom, boom!” Flames burst everywhere, burning away the vines binding Jasmine.
She collapsed weakly to the ground again, but before she could even catch her breath, the vines wrapped her up once more and forced her to stand.
“Boom, boom, boom!” Another explosive crossbow bolt.
“Keep going.
Blast her until she’s dead,” Robert said coldly.
“You guys… do you really want me dead that badly?” Jasmine’s head drooped on her shoulder as the vines hoisted her up, her pure silver hair falling down.
“I never wanted to deal with you… I never wanted to get involved in anything.
I just wanted to live up to everyone’s expectations and live a good life… but you all insist on killing me! …Why?!” Jasmine lifted her eyes, burning with rage, and the vines binding her began to creak and groan.
“If we can’t coexist, then you can all go to hell!”
“Crack!” She tore the vines apart like useless weeds and charged at Robert in a frenzy.
“Stop her,” Robert said, his brow furrowed deeply.
“Clang, clang!” Before she could get halfway, a barbed iron whip wrapped around her neck.
“I’ll hold her here, you guys attack!” Facing such fierce resistance, the rope noble had no choice but to hold Jasmine back with the chain and shout.
The crossbowman didn’t waste the opportunity, firing all kinds of enchanted bolts at Jasmine in a barrage.
In the chaos, Jasmine was blasted back several steps, leaving bloody trails behind her.
“Nice, that’s it!” Jasmine silently grabbed the barbed chain, ignoring the sharp spikes, and snapped it with brute force.
“Creak, creak… crack!” The tough barbed whip was broken in her hands.
“What?! My barbed whip…” The rope noble was horrified.
But it wasn’t over.
After destroying another fine weapon, Jasmine grabbed the end of the barbed whip and yanked the rope noble toward her.
“You!…”
“Hehehe…” After knocking him down with a punch, Jasmine straddled the rope noble.
Her beautiful face was now covered in blood—whose, it was hard to tell—giving her a twisted, terrifying look.
“You, you…” Unlike her earlier rage, the rope noble’s voice trembled.
As Jasmine’s face drew closer, all he felt was fear.
“Regret it? Too late for that~” Jasmine grinned, raised her fist, and slammed it down, nearly knocking the rope noble’s head sideways.
Nearby, the crossbow noble kept firing, but it was useless.
A layer of something like scales wrapped around Jasmine, making her impervious to blades and arrows.
At the brink of death, her Heart-guarding Dragon Scales had activated.
“Come on, is that all you’ve got? Didn’t you eat?” Jasmine taunted the crossbow noble as she pummeled the rope noble beneath her.
Fueled by rage, her strength was terrifying.
Just a few punches and the rope noble was already out cold.
Of course, her most lethal weapon was her teeth, but she just felt that punching was more satisfying.
After she was done, Jasmine didn’t hesitate to bite into the rope noble’s neck.
“Young Master Robert, what do we do now??…” With two companions down, the crossbow and sword-shield nobles were starting to panic.
“Don’t worry, just stall her for a bit.” Robert stood up, stretching leisurely.
He pressed his palms together and focused his mind.
Instantly, the lush greenery around them began to wither away, bit by bit.
He was using his bloodline to absorb the life energy of the surrounding trees.
“Yaaah!” With all hope pinned on Robert, the sword-shield noble had no choice but to charge, while the crossbow noble covered her.
“Come on, is that all you’ve got?” Jasmine didn’t even bother to defend against the sword-shield noble’s heavy swings.
She grabbed the blade and twisted it until it broke.
“Die, damn you!” With her sword gone, the sword-shield noble grabbed her shield and smashed it at Jasmine.
Robert’s actions were strange.
Normally, Jasmine would have prioritized taking him out, but right now she was in a blind rage, unable to think of anything but attacking.
She grabbed the sword-shield noble and beat her senseless.
Even with armor and a shield, the sword-shield noble was left bruised and coughing blood.
“What the hell kind of strength is this?!” the sword-shield noble screamed as Jasmine punched her flying.
“Tch…” Seeing Jasmine’s gaze shift from the sword-shield noble to himself, the crossbow noble knew he was doomed.
“Fight back, come on, fight back!” Jasmine lunged at the crossbow noble, furious.
“Why aren’t you shooting at me like before? Fight back!”
With no way to dodge, the crossbow noble could only raise his weapon to block.
The expensive heavy crossbow was left with a huge dent, and the impact made his chest ache.
But Jasmine didn’t let up.
She tackled him to the ground, baring her fangs.
“Tch!” The crossbow noble’s eyes widened as he stared at the death about to descend on him.
